The insulating rod is mainly composed of working head, insulating rod and grip.

Manufacturing process:

Insulating rod is made of high quality glass fiber cloth, epoxy resin and 306 resin phthalic anhydride, glass fiber cloth as well as the curing agent, etc. And it gets into shape after the first high temperature on the mold. Then take off the mold, after the second high temperature grinding, once rough grinding, twice fine grindings, then make it into other fiberglass products. Insulating rod has beautiful appearance, light structure, convenient operation, and excellent mechanical and electrical performance, suitable for all kinds of high pressure conditions.

Storage method:

1.  An insulating rod is usually composed of three sections. When storing or carrying, we should decompose each part, and put it in a special tool bag with the exposed screw thread upwards to prevent the surface abration or damage of the screw.

2. When storing, choose a well-ventilated, clean and dry place, and suspend it on the brake lever, managed by the special person. Insulation board should not be exposed to the wall to avoid moisture.

3. Once the surface of the insulation rod is damaged or dampened, it should be handled and dried in time.The surface damage of the rod should not be wound with wire or plastic tape. When drying, it is best to choose the natural drying method of sunlight, rather than be roasted with fire. After treatment and drying, the brake lever must be tested and qualified before reusing.

4. An ac withstand test must be conducted annually. The unqualified insulating rod should be scrapped immediately and destroyed, and the standard should not be reduced. It should not be put together with the qualified insulation rod.
